Justen

Portrait

Justen Ross—professionally known as Jus10, and also celebrated in Ballroom as the Atlanta Godfather Domino Unbothered Cartier Balenciaga—is a multidisciplinary artist redefining what it means to be seen, heard, and felt. Emerging from Atlanta’s thriving creative underground, Jus10’s work spans rap, film, and performance, merging sharp lyricism with the theatricality of Ballroom culture and the intimacy of lived experience.

With his debut EP Class President, Jus10 steps boldly into hip hop’s center stage, weaving Ballroom energy through hard-hitting verses and unapologetic storytelling. His artistry has been spotlighted by KeKe Palmer, The Terrell Show, Durand Bernarr, The Alliance Theatre, and more. On and off the mic, Justen moves with purpose—creating work that amplifies Black queer communities, innovation, and self-determination.

Ballroom gave Justen a brave space to become himself—a place where his talent, spirit, and identity finally had room to breathe. It offered him lineage, purpose, and a community that doesn’t just see his brilliance, but believes in it. Ballroom taught him that he is powerful, divine, and part of something larger—charged with carrying that love forward.

His understanding of HIV awareness was shaped by a mother in public health and a childhood spent in rooms where care came before judgment. Those lessons echo what we hold as a community today: that sex education lives beyond facts and science. It’s about how we show up for one another, how we refuse to let stigma or morality be used as tools of harm, and how we build spaces where dignity leads every conversation.

This work honours that collective responsibility—reminding us that care is a cultural practice, and that building futures rooted in dignity, empathy, and love is something we all share.

Ballroom helped me recognize the divinity in myself and in my community. I am a superhero here.
